About Little Magnolia

My first love

Little Magnolia has grown out of a passion for creating better quality and unique pieces for my young daughter and nieces. After hearing ‘you should be selling these’ said a few too many times, I realised I needed to come back to my first love; fashion design.

My approach to sustainable fashion

Choosing a sustainable fashion approach means: trans-seasonal, flexible fit and durability.

Trans-seasonal: I produce trans-seasonal styles that you can layer-up or layer-down throughout the year. I believe one piece should be able to be worn for more than two seasons of the year.

Flexible fit: By custom-designing my clothing I have the opportunity to create garments that have a flexible fit. Each piece will grow with your child for longer meaning you buy less. The fit is also true to size, meaning you shouldn’t need to buy 2 sizes bigger to fit from day one.

Durable: The highest quality fabrics are selected for durability, breathability & comfort, including organic cotton and ethically sourced New Zealand Merino. The beautiful fabrics, colours and prints are curated to work with other pieces in the range, ensuring your little one gets the most wear out of a garment, before handing it on.

I hope you enjoy your Little Magnolia garments. If taken care of, these heirloom pieces should wear slowly, continue to fit well and look great as they get passed from child to child.
